The "Andasol 1" is the largest thermosolar plant in the world. Located in southern Spain it uses parabolic trough collectors, covering 510,000 m², generates 50MW, and provides electricity to 50,000 homes. In total, about 3.4 million fastening elements were used in the assembly.

Hydro-Pneumatic Tools Boost Reliability

New Avdel® Genesis® nG hand tools are said to increase reliability, ergonomics, productivity and service compared to the models they replace. They are also described as stronger and faster. The new hydro-pneumatic installation tools are applicable in assembly operations that use breakstem rivets and lock bolts in automotive, vehicle manufacturing, construction and general industry. They weigh between 1.5 and 2.28 kg (between 4.3 and 5.0 lb), with pull forces that vary between 6.0 to 18.68 kN (between 2,100 and 4,200 lbf).
