The quality of the delegates was excellent with large numbers of engineers and buyers. Tom Morrison, Applications Engineer at Avdel® commented “Overall an excellent show, fantastic organisation with more exhibitors and delegates than ever, the layout of the rooms was perfect and the location was great making the exhibition a good day out of the office”.

The Avdel® engineers were pleased to meet not only people with a specific fastening problem, but also those looking to keep up to date with new technologies and expand their knowledge. New questions never met by our engineers were pondered and anything that could not be answered on the day with an existing product was taken back to the office to work on. Tony Tyson the Technical Support Engineer at Avdel® observed “Our stand was extraordinarily busy, people saw the Avdel® sign and stopped because of the brand but stayed to chat about the new technologies and innovating solutions that Avdel® could offer.”

During the exhibition the Avdel® stand featured a ‘Guess how many rivets in a jar’ competition. We are now delighted to announce that the winner of the bottle of champagne is Stuart Betts from He-Man Dual Controls in Southampton. Also on the Avdel® stand was a competition to name our powerful new 07287 tool. We have now picked a name and are in the process of getting it trademarked. We hope to be able to announce the new name soon.
