European regulation concerning Substances with Very High Concern (SVHC)

As from 1st June 2007, the regulation (EC) 1907/2006 (REACH) entered into force.
Avdel (Infastech™) is well prepared to this new regulation and the obligations that arise from the Reach regulation. We compiled an inventory of all substances, preparations and articles used or manufactured in our company and their origin to define our status under REACH. According to REACH, we are considered, and depending on the product, as a downstream user of substances, and as a producer of articles of which no substance is intended to be released. Due to our status under REACH, we are therefore currently not subject to the registration obligations.
However, we will continue to pay attention to possible changes of our REACH status to assure that we have the continuing ability to offer you our best service and provide you with the products you need. Therefore, we are in close cooperation with our suppliers to make sure that all substances included in our articles will be registered if required by the regulation. Yet, if the articles we provide you contain one or more substances that are included in the candidate list of substances subject to authorisation, we, as producer of articles, are held to communicate you some information if the concentration of such substance in each article is superior to 0,1% (w/w).
We have studied the pre-list of Substances with Very High Concern (SVHC) of October 28th 2008, published by the European Agency (ECHA) and we have not identified any SVHC into our articles.

All requests for a statement of compliance will be dealt with on a customer by customer request.
All requests must be submitted to the contacts below, with a full list of all the part No's to be covered on the Avdel/Infastech letter of declaration.
