Overview

The Avdel Supersert® threaded insert is designed to provide load bearing threads in thick materials and blind holes. The Supersert rivet nut features a mechanical locking mechanism for applications requiring a higher push and pull out resistance. The Supersert insert can be installed with high speed assembly to coated applications without damaging the surface.

Key features and benefits

  • Not grip sensitive. Can be used in thick materials from 0.8mm (0.03"), including blind holes
  • Mechanical locking mechanism for applications requiring higher resistance to push out and pull out
  • Access needed from only one side of the application, for high speed assembly
  • Provide a female thread in application
  • Can be installed in pre-coated or post painted applications without damaging the surface
  • Low profile head allows near flush fit to application
